My ideal client is someone that is open to learning "another way" of doing things. Dr. Brooks-Gordon received her “Sexual Assault Counselor” certificate in 2012 and volunteered with the Riverside Area Rape Crisis Center for a little over a year. Dr. Brooks-Gordon briefly worked with children on the Autism Spectrum providing in-home ABA services. Dr. Brooks-Gordon developed her knowledge of children by working with children in the foster care system. Dr. Brooks-Gordon is EMDR trained and working towards certification.
