I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2016, with extensive experience working with the adult and elderly populations. I work with clients in a collaborative manner, providing empathetic, active listening, and support. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused approaches to support clients in developing and increasing the use of healthy coping skills when facing stressful, life-changing events. I will complete a detailed psychosocial assessment. I will ask the client about their primary concerns, but I will also gather additional information, such as medical history, psychiatric history, personal history, and emergency contacts.
