I have been a therapist for 32 years and my therapeutic approach has always been focused on helping clients to understand themselves. Our entire life history and all of the events that we have experienced shape how we see ourselves and the world. Our beliefs, thoughts and patterns, emotional sensitivities, and reactions are formed throughout our lives, and leave a great impact on how we process all incoming information. If we don't address our core issues and only focus on the problematic symptoms they cause, we stay stuck in emotional cycles and thought patterns that lead to dissatisfaction in major life areas. Issues like anxiety and depression often have roots in our early life experiences. I have trained extensively in Post Induction Therapy with Pia Melody; The Meadows, and in couples counseling with Terry Real; The Relational Life Institute. These modalities focus on core issues to resolve life problems and gain a deep personal understanding of ourselves.
