About
I believe that people live experiential lives. How we shape and interpret our experiences affects how we adapt to adversity. The brain and nervous system are designed to adapt by creating protective measures. These inner elements are often disrupted by unresolved trauma, relationships, or behaviors leaving us feeling disconnected, stuck, anxious, or depressed. We can adapt by creating negative thought patterns, having sleep disturbance, reactive emotions, or feelings of loneliness. Inherent within all of us is an ability to reconnect with our inner selves and gain awareness to our behaviors and coping mechanisms.
