I hold degrees from UCLA and Pepperdine University, with an approach drawing from evidence-based theories including CBT, Narrative and Attachment Theory. My work is grounded in research and clinical experience developed over 10 years of practice in California and British Columbia. For couples counseling, therapy is a time to explore patterns, emotions and unique dynamics from a safe and supportive position. By disarming defenses and looking at unstable interactions, we can (re)establish homeostasis and increase intimacy. Some common areas that I assist couples with include trust, intimacy and expectations.
