My approach to therapy is to, first and foremost, provide a safe environment, free from judgment, where clients can feel confident to express their thoughts and feelings. Therapy involves a collaboration between therapist and client to explore and process the impact circumstances, events and primary relationships, past or current, have on the client’s life. In understanding the challenges client’s face as they strive to make positive changes, we work together to identify and target behaviors that no longer serve them well.
