I was taught to maintain my curiosity from a young age. Eventually, I was able to match this curiosity with compassion. I recognized that we are all striving for understanding, but life and its challenges tend to interrupt this process. I am a 2nd-generation Afro-Caribbean American raised in Richmond, Va, presently loving Chicago for all of its complexity and richness. I am a music-loving, chess-playing, bicycle-riding, pet-loving kind of guy.
