I believe that the most important part of helping a client relates to the development of trust between the client and therapist. It is essential to create an emotionally safe environment and demonstrate unconditional acceptance regarding the client's emotional experience. I am holistically oriented and use an integrative eclectic approach to treatment. I believe that the body and mind are inter-related. The therapeutic approach might focus at times on improving nutrition, exercise, and even self-appreciation. Therapeutic techniques may include aspects of: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Problem Solving Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, NLP, Art, Movement, and even Hypnosis.
