I deeply enjoy working with children and parents of all ages, especially adoptive and foster families. As an adoptee myself, I believe I offer a unique perspective and understanding of the experience of separation from a birth family and integration into a new one. Adopted children may internalize blame, feeling abandoned or isolated. Simultaneously, adoptive parents can struggle with feelings of inadequacy and helplessness.
