Hello and welcome. Choosing a therapist can be a challenge; it's important to find someone you connect with, feel safe with, and trust enough to discuss personal issues. Your comfort is essential for healing. My approach is trauma-informed, allowing me to follow your lead in setting therapeutic goals and the path to achieve them. We will work collaboratively throughout the therapeutic process, building a strong alliance. While Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is my primary treatment method, I also utilize EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitizing Reprocessing) and other techniques to create a personalized plan for you. I enjoy supporting youth and young adults, and often their families, and have experience assisting new parents, those navigating postpartum challenges, and people undergoing various life transitions. My specialized expertise lies in assessment and treatment of emerging mental illness, including early or first-episode psychosis, and childhood trauma.
