I like working with people who recognize that they want or need to change something in their lives that they haven't yet figured out how to do by themselves. This includes people who feel they are stuck creatively-- working on a particular project that just doesn't move forward. Sometimes it is a question of what needs to change, as well as how to make that happen. While this process requires work that only they can do, therapy gives them a place to learn ways to do this work, using cognitive and experiential techniques.
