With over 15 years of experience counseling couples, families, and children, I bring a wealth of knowledge and compassion to my work. My professional background includes serving as the director of a men's residential addiction center, working as a school-based counselor, and providing therapy and crisis support to adults and children in a community mental health setting. I've also spent six years in vocational ministry as a pastor. My initial approach is to build a good working relationship with you in order to create an atmosphere where you feel comfortable being transparent, so we can identify specific issues and a plan of action for you. I primarily work from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) perspective which looks at how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors all work together.
