I find meaning working with others as they strive to move through life's inherent struggles- sometimes simply trying to stay afloat, sometimes realizing moments of insight and positive change. I have found that individual experiences and identities tend to transcend diagnostic categories and am most interested in working from a transdiagnostic approach that applies well-validated principles to create change in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I enjoy working with individuals experiencing difficulties with mood and/or anxiety, traumatic experiences, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I conceptualize struggle as an opportunity for insight, growth, and the realization of self-compassion, seeing yourself both as you are and as you can be.
