About
People come to therapy for all kinds of reasons. When I initially meet with people and ask "what brings you in?" they often say "I'm feeling stuck, stressed, angry, in my head, can't sleep, or having trouble with relationships." If you've been feeling any of these things, you're not alone and I commend you for even considering therapy. It's not an easy step to take, but one that's well worth it because things can get better. I'm a Board Certified Clinical Psychologist with 20 years of experience working with people who face challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, relationships, and attention and concentration. I offer a number of interventions based on the specific goals and needs of each person such as dialectical behavior therapy or DBT, cognitive behavioral therapy or CBT, EMDR, cognitive processing therapy or CPT for PTSD, prolonged exposure or PE for PTSD, somatic and mindfulness practices.
