Establishing a solid therapeutic relationship includes safety, confidentiality, respect, validation, support, patience,hope and a clear focus of therapy goals. I am interactive and collaborative in therapy sessions, helping individuals explore unhelpful coping strategies, heal attachment disorders, & explore the psychodynamics of what is really causing trouble below the surface. I employ both experimental and empirically validated methods that have been developed from the studies of the neurobiology of attachment, trauma, consciousness and mindfulness, as well as complementary traditions of mind-body healing. Partnering with my patients in the transformational process produces resilency that is needed for substantial change.
