I think of therapy as a safe space to truly be heard, a place to catch your breath, and gain support in processing and sorting through difficult emotions and situations. As a clinician, I value authenticity and humor in my connections with clients. I believe a strong positive alliance between myself and my clients is what fosters trust and hope, allows us to explore vulnerable emotions and difficulties, and ultimately work towards our therapeutic goals.
