I am Dr. Carmelo Isales, a psychotherapist, specializing in marital and family dynamics, and founder of Prism Family Counseling INC. I am aware of what it means to lose, to rebuild, and to transform pain into self-worth. I have learned through 20 years of practice, that the strength of treatment usually involves the discovery of parental wounds and its impact on current family functioning. I specifically use a safe triadic approach with mother, children, and father together if available. I can also use the same approaches in individual sessions to promote the release of traumatic distress.
