I began my career behind the camera, where every frame was a confession and every cut a defense. That insight pulled me from film sets into the human mind. I earned an M.S. in Counseling Psychology at Cal Lutheran University, then a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute, specializing in Depth Psychology. In practice, I work psychoanalytically: slowing the film, studying the frame, listening for the lines never spoken. Transference isn’t jargon—it’s the projector casting the past onto the present. Together, we confront the shadows you’d rather cut, because only by facing them can your story move toward freedom. I treat depression, anxiety, ADHD, and bipolar disorder, with particular expertise in personality disorders—especially borderline personality disorder—as well as psychotic and dissociative disorders. Through a psychodynamic approach, I help patients increase insight, build resilience, and tolerate psychic pain to foster lasting change.
