About
Dr. DeOliveira works with adult women and gender-questioning/gender non-conforming folks to explore narratives that have restricted their capacities for thriving. She specializes in trauma recovery, mood stability, coping with anxiety, identity exploration, and reproductive health concerns (i.e., pregnancy, postpartum, fertility issues). She is trained to work with issues of sexuality, gender, and marginalized identity, and she has developed a specialty area in supporting the LGBTQ+ and Latinx communities. Dr. DeOliveira also understands that unresolved trauma can keep people from reaching their full potential. Dr. DeOliveira's background in childhood development lends her a deep understanding of how childhood trauma shapes and colors experiences in adulthood. She integrates therapeutic modalities including CBT, CPT, IFS, and Narrative Therapy to provide each client a flexible and supportive treatment plan, with emphasis on trauma-informed care.
