Intimate partner betrayal, infidelity, sex/porn addictions, sexual abuse and trauma, and PTSD are areas of speciality. Does life feel unmanageable? I am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and Certified Betrayed Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT). I trained under Patrick Carnes at the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP). I have an advanced certificate in sexual abuse and sexual trauma narrative therapy. I am trained by The Association for Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialist (APSATS). Healthy sexuality is achievable. Sex is an integral and balanced part of life experience. Sexual behaviors become problematic when they violate vows and values, are dishonest, harmful to others, put you at risk, diminish your joy in life, act as a barrier filled with shame, self-contempt, and isolation. Recovery embraces proactive, sustainable change.
