I have been providing psychotherapy to clients in my private practice, hospital environments and college environments for over 35 years. I received my PhD from Tulane University and formerly held an adjunct professor position at Tulane. I help individuals discover resiliency, confidence, meaning and coping skills in the face of life transitions. Whether you face relationship issues, career difficulties, adjustment to high school or college, professional development, or if you are facing a challenging situation, I can provide help and support. My specialty is helping clients deal with stress and trauma. My Doctoral dissertation is titled "Case Studies of Transforming Trauma." Through extensive research I found that although trauma and life transitions may cause pain, adversity can lead to greater strength.
