I am Dr. Eleuterio Mendoza, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with more than 9 years of experience in the mental health field. I work with adolescents and adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, psychosis, trauma, sleep problems, grief, LGBTQ issues, relationship issues, self-esteem, bipolar disorder I and II, loneliness, and addiction (both behavioral and chemical). I approach each client's mental health issue by considering what is happening in the brain, lifestyle factors (such as sleep, diet, exercise, and substance use), current and past stressors, genetics, and developmental experiences. I also did my postdoctoral residency at Kaiser Permanente's Chemical Dependency Recovery Program (now Addiction Medicine Recovery Services) in Antioch. Additionally, I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University.
