Often times in therapy, issues are addressed superficially only. This leads to a recurrence of episodes where the patient seems to improve but never really resolve their issues. A psychodynamic approach targets the roots of the problems, not simply the symptoms. My aim is the core, the starting point of it all, and from there work to resolve whatever else stems from that origin. My goal is for the patient to live a wholesome, functional, but above all, a meaningful life.
