Are you feeling disconnected from yourself and from others? Maybe you are finding yourself feeling numb, anxious, or hopeless. Do you find yourself reliving your worst experiences - or maybe even avoiding people or situations that remind you of them. Your trauma may even have left you believing you’re worthless, unlovable, or broken. Isolation, anger, irritability, feeling stuck, and difficulties with trust are all common reactions to trauma, but there is hope. I believe that trust in the therapy relationship is imperative. I believe in building a safe space to be vulnerable and rediscover who you are and what you want. I am not a “worksheet therapist” but I also won’t sit in our session, nodding my head, and never speaking. Together we will explore your past, confront your future, and process difficult emotions.
