Sometimes things happen in our lives and we feel the need to share our challenges with a mental health professional. We however, do not want to feel judged. We want to speak to an individual who is; genuine, easy to talk to, non-judgmental, and someone who shows unconditional positive regard. I have over 20 yrs. of mental health experience. I have worked with children, adolescents and adults. In the past, I worked in several capacities, and with multiple population groups. I have treated childhood developmental, and non-developmental disorders, in addition to working with adults suffering from a myriad of mental health challenges. I engage patients in the psychotherapeutic helping process using an eclectic approach, relying heavily on cognitive strategies to help patients restructure their thought processes, so that they can better cope with negative, traumatic, and debilitating emotions.
