If you’re looking for a therapist who won’t just nod their head and say, “Uh-huh”, or else ask, “How did that make you feel?”, then I’m the right fit for you! My approach is to listen, ask questions, and then work with you to come up with a plan for what you want to get out of our sessions together, and how I’m going to help you accomplish your goals. I believe in being caring and supportive when you’re hurting, challenging when you’re “coasting”, and “working myself out of a job” (i.e., when you’re satisfied with the progress you’ve made).
