About

As a licensed clinical and school psychologist, I have experience with a range of childhood, young adult, and parenting issues. I am passionate about supporting individuals and strengthening families during these complicated times. My approach combines evidence-based treatments and relationship-based processing that is guided by the values and goals we will identify together. I have particular interest in working with boys and young men trying to find their way, and include parental involvement in this process to the extent possible. I also specialize in parent coaching, attachment-based therapy, anxiety/depression, and autism. I have experience in the following areas: parenting, challenging behaviors, adolescent/young adults, autism, anxiety, depression, ADHD, school issues, and social skills. I attended college at UCLA, received my Ph.D. from UCSB, and completed a fellowship at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. As a father of 5, I also regularly draw from life experience.
