I value the therapy room as a place free of judgment. I enjoy working with those looking to heal through exploration of past experiences to better understand present patterns. Curiosity, humor, and compassion are central to my approach. I am an active and collaborative therapist and challenge my clients to wonder about their own behaviors and desires. I hope that in time when trust is established, my clients feel safe to explore parts of themselves they may try to hide or ignore. My areas of specialty include family trauma; romantic relationships; gender and sexuality; grief and loss; and developing self-compassion.
