I'm Dr. John How, a board-certified emergency medicine physician and Medical Director of Stella Mental Health Irvine and San Diego (located in Encinitas). I specialize in treating an array of mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD/PTSI, with a special interest in healing the physical and mental problems developed in people who work/live in high-stress jobs and environments. I received my medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California. From there, I completed a residency in emergency medicine at Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
