I believe that mental health issues are often symptoms of deeper suffering and that by building a solid therapeutic relationship with evidence based interventions, those problems become less impactful. I seek to get to the root of the issues to find the unique solution for every client. Every behavior is driven by feeling. Under those feelings is a basic human need, and when that need is understood one can address the root of the issue, not just the symptoms.
