About

I have found that my work orbits around individuals and couples who are understanding, working with, and making meaning out of painful relational experiences. These experiences may be acute or ongoing, generational or developmental, individual or collective. Because trauma can have complicated origins, what we often feel in real time is confusion, anxiety, depression, disconnection, dysregulation, brokenness, grief, shifts in identity, and/or changing roles in our communities/families. My goal is to help you start the process of untangling these responses so you can move in the world with more peace, understanding, and freedom. My style of therapy understands that early life and relational experiences have a deep impact on who we become as adults and who we choose to build relationships with. In addition to trauma and its resulting havoc, I specialize in work with LGBTQ+ people, victims of religious/spiritual trauma/abuse, and creatives (artists, writers, musicians, actors, etc.)
