I believe that counseling can be a powerful agent of positive change in many individuals' lives and can serve as a source of hope for those who might be feeling discouraged. I operate from a strengths-based perspective where we identify personal assets you possess to help work through current concerns. Another aspect of my counseling approach involves assisting you in exploring personal meaning in your life and incorporating humor, when appropriate. Some of my specialty areas include: relationship breakups, communication, boundaries, depression, anxiety, trauma, work stress, grief/loss, self-worth, and therapy for therapists. View 7 Photos I am a Licensed Psychologist and practice owner of "Southwest Psychology." I earned both my PhD and Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. Over the past 20+ years, I have worked with young adults, adults, and older adults in various settings including: hospital inpatient, residential, and university counseling centers.
