Dr. Bascom has taught graduate classes in child psychotherapy and ADHD at Antioch University. He has also lectured to numerous community groups on a wide range of parenting issues, including self-esteem, discipline, sex education, adolescence, and the impact of media on children. He is an adjunct supervisor for the Psychology Assessment Center at UCSB. Before moving to Santa Barbara he was the clinical director of the Therapeutic School at the Julia Ann Singer Center. He is the former president of the Santa Barbara County Psychological Association. Dr.
