Hi, I’m Lauren and I am a chronically ill, fat accepting, female identified therapist who comes from a social justice framework. If you are looking for a therapist that uses humor & commits to building a trusting, collaborative relationship with their clients I may be the perfect fit for you! I believe that therapy should be used as a tool to help you live as your most authentic self, rather than only for when we find ourselves in crisis. Whether trauma or significant life transitions are getting in the way; I greatly value curious exploration as to what may be getting in the way of our day to day life. I strongly believe that human to human relationships are a significant part of healing. I use humanistic, feminist, and trauma-informed approaches to assist clients with self-exploration & to cultivate a deeper understanding of themselves within the context of their lived experiences. Our stories are powerful and are deserving of being heard.
