Being a mom is hard, even under the best circumstances. Postpartum depression/anxiety can make parenting feel impossible. My therapy practice focuses on working with mamas who are struggling with PPD/PPA, birth trauma, and NICU stays. I've been a clinical social worker for over a decade and hold a PhD in developmental psychology where I studied attachment, stress, and trauma. And I'm a former NICU mama, have experienced birth trauma and the very preterm birth of my twins. I practice from lived experience. Parenting in a world where maternal mental health is often overlooked led me to this work and to my passion for helping moms. View 4 Photos As your therapist, we'll build an authentic relationship. My approach is warm, nurturing, and will help you challenge unhelpful thought patterns, lean into mindfulness, and help you learn how to manage ongoing stress.
