Dr. Street has had over 25 years of specialized experience in the areas of OCD, Anxiety, and Panic, she has held top positions at nationally renowned institutions, including her past service as the Program Chief of the Psychotherapy and Treatment Development Program at the NIMH, and her work as a research scientist and clinician at Columbia Medical Center’s Department of Psychiatry. Apart from her specializations, her clinical work also covers related difficulties such as the treatment of trichotillomania, agoraphobia, social phobia, and depression. Dr. Street’s first priority is to have the sensitivity and awareness to develop an accurate assessment of what her clients genuinely want and need from therapy. Her work is significantly shaped by her personal warmth and genuine compassion, which help to soothe, motivate, and empower clients to take concrete steps toward meaningful and lasting change.
