I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), the first-line, non-medication treatment for chronic insomnia. I work with adults who struggle to fall asleep, wake during the night and have trouble returning to sleep, or wake up feeling unrefreshed despite spending enough time in bed. Over time, many begin to feel anxious or tense at bedtime, frustrated by lying awake, and worried about how poor sleep is affecting their mood, focus, and daily functioning. Many of my clients have tried medications, supplements or general therapy for sleep without lasting relief. CBT-I is different. It targets the behaviors and thoughts that keep insomnia going. Treatment includes sleep schedule adjustments, strategies to reduce nighttime wakefulness and tools to calm a racing mind so sleep can feel more natural and consistent.
