I received my Ph.D. In Clinical Health Psychology from Yeshiva University, Bronx, NY and then obtained a two-year Fellowship with Dr. Albert Ellis at the Albert Ellis Institute in NYC. My research interest while completing my Ph.D. dissertation, had to do with geriatrics and specifically Alzheimer?s Disease and this led me to working in The Departments of Rehabilitation Medicine at Jacobi Hospital in the Bronx and then at Staten Island University Hospital. For the past years I have been doing consulting work/psychotherapy in Nursing Home settings and in private practice.
