I am a psychoanalytically trained psychotherapist whose primary focus is on developing a relationship of trust between therapist and client that is essential to the healing process. I put a strong emphasis on the importance of the client's comfort in the room both physically and emotionally. Although I encourage my clients to say everything, I also think their instincts regarding when and how much they want to share should be respected. Respecting the boundaries and privacy of my clients is something I regard as the foundation of a good therapeutic relationship.
