Hi, I’m Dr. Mehrit Tekeste, a licensed clinical psychologist based in Maryland and a PSYPACT provider. I offer virtual therapy in 40+ states and in-person sessions locally. I work with adolescents (10+), teens, and adults, with a special focus on: anxiety, trauma, depression, multicultural identity, major life changes, ADHD, and executive functioning. My approach is warm, culturally responsive, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. At the heart of my work is a deep commitment to helping clients feel truly seen, understood, supported, and empowered throughout their healing journey. I take a collaborative and evidence-based approach to therapy, drawing from CBT, ACT, multicultural counseling, and family systems.
