The therapeutic work I practice is grounded in a respect for the capacity of individuals to intuitively know where they are, where they want to be, and their resiliency and capacity for change. Sometimes that intuitive knowing is as simple as, not where I am now, or I find myself acting in ways I told myself I wouldn't or saying things to other's that hurt me when I was young. Sometimes it can be noticing things that work in some ways but also cause distress, such as substance use, isolation, or constant need for work or movement. And knowing and striving to feel more at ease and a better sense of well-being.
