Navigating intense and unpleasant emotions can be challenging, holding us back from what really matters. These emotions may lead us to avoid situations or activities that hold significance, while simultaneously diminishing our motivation, leaving us feeling stuck. My mission is to help in these moments, working with patients to develop effective emotional and behavioral skills, identify valued directions, and take steps toward a meaningful life. I prioritize a collaborative and active therapeutic process in which we work together to develop treatment goals and clear, definable expectations to reduce suffering and promote wellness. I provide evidence-based psychological treatments for a range of psychological disorders and health conditions including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues such as PTSD, substance abuse, and chronic pain conditions. Beyond treating specific psychological disorders, I also work with patients who may simply want to increase overall health and wellness.
