About
With nearly 25 years of clinical experience, I am your ally, in every sense of the word. I respect my patients' lived experiences: in their skin...in their bodies...in their culture...in their minds. I will help you understand how your unique past experiences might be keeping you from moving forward in life and in your most important relationships. We will collaborate to identify what you want to change in your life and then work together to develop insight of how things have come to be thus far. My goal is for you to feel empowered to use this insight and your strengths to make sustainable changes toward the life you want to live. I am a lecturer in Harvard's Medical School and previously worked at Harvard University's Health Services. I've been a featured contributor to The Boston Globe and other media, and I work with issues including relationships and attachment, identity development and acceptance, body image issues, and trauma. I hold space for political and safety concerns.
