About

I am a dually licensed psychoanalyst and creative art therapist in clinical practice for over 45 years. My experience includes working with adolescents as the Clinical Director of the Henry Street School, 1973-1980, and I have been Professor Emeritus at the College of New Rochelle, a Visiting Professor at Pratt Institute, as well as a Senior Member and Training Analyst at The National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis and the Institute for Expressive Analysis, where I was formerly President. My current work with adults reflects my integration of creative process within the framework of psychoanalysis. My treatment format often includes creative processing of dreams and the integration of expressive forms of communication within the analytic framework.
