My name is Dr. Samantha Franke. I have a PhD in Clinical Social Work and licensed in NY and VT (LCSW). I have worked 10 years in private practice with 32 years of experience in serving adolescent and young adults, along with their families. I currently hold a doctorate degree in clinical social work. I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and EMDR. I often incorporate TF-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and into my work with clients. I also work from a strengths based perspective. I hope to provide individuals, couples and families in the tri-town community with a local, accessible resource of support My areas of specialty include adolescents and young adult populations. When possible, I like to do work conjunction with the adolescent and the family. I work with identity challenges, relationship difficulty, anxiety, depression, self-harm, low self-esteem, grief / loss, body image issues, and trauma.
