I support adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, activism burnout, cultural conflict, relationship difficulties, identity exploration, and folx seeking LGBTQIA+ affirming care. Sometimes, we can feel alone in our struggles, and feel like we have to “keep it together” for everyone else. This can be exhausting and painful. I strive to create a safe space where you can fully be yourself as we collaboratively address challenges you are facing. I work from a place of empowerment, empathy, cultural sensitivity, and creativity to help you understand your emotions, process your experiences, and develop strategies to heal. I use interpersonal, CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed therapies. This means that therapy may involve discussing your relationships, identifying thoughts and emotions rooted in hurtful past experiences that impact you, and discussing tools for managing strong emotions. I am also passionate about supporting folks facing racism, sizeism, homophobia, and prejudice.
