Dr. Shaenor Ishmael is the owner and maternal mental health therapist for Inspired Counseling Center. She is a mental health advocate who loves helping women and couples navigate various life transitions. Inspired Counseling Center provides virtual mental health services specializing in maternal mental health. This includes counseling related to infertility, pregnancy loss, birth trauma and/or postpartum. A fragmented and deeply unequal system of physical and mental health care during the perinatal period (before, during, and after pregnancy) fails women at one of the most vulnerable times of their lives.
