Personal Impact Statement: The importance of advocating for oneself, knowing one has a voice & to using that voice. I have over 20 years of clinical mental and behavioral health services to children, individuals and families. My specialty is working with children who have special needs such as autism, trauma focus, anxiety, depression, gender identity, LGBTQIA & crisis intervention. Efficient clinical leadership as a school social worker, medical social worker, behavioral health trainer to staff, community members and parents. I also have experience working with children and families within the family court & juvenile justice system, and foster care. I hold a certification in Trauma-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TB-CBT).
