Hi, I am Dr. Shawanna Burton, a licensed professional counselor who works with individuals, couples, and families, as well as small groups. I enjoy helping clients navigate various challenges and life transitions, including anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, stress, and career decisions. I am passionate about supporting individuals who are ready to take steps towards finding their inner peace and living the life they desire. I highlight person-centered and brief-solution-focused therapies in my counseling approach but will also utilize a few cognitive-behavioral and motivational interviewing techniques to aid clients in achieving their therapeutic goals. I enjoy providing support and practical feedback to help clients think about their situations with a new perspective.
