People come to therapy for many reasons—some in search of deeper self-understanding, others to make sense of longstanding pain in their relationships or inner life. Above all, people come to experience some form of relief, change, and/or greater aliveness. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic principles and I work collaboratively and thoughtfully, drawing on my extensive clinical training as well as my values of warmth, curiosity, humility, and humor. Together, we will create a space where the complexities of your emotional world can be safely explored, so that new insight—and new ways of being—can emerge. I work with adults (18+) and couples. I am deeply interested in themes related to self-worth, identity, relationships, attachment, grief, existentialism, and liberation. I also specialize in working with genderqueer and sexually diverse people.
